Papers submitted to the conference should be original and of high quality, should not have been published or be under consideration for publication in another conference or journal. The submitted contributions should be written in English. The instructions for the submission of a full paper are as follows:
A maximum length of 7 (seven) A4 pages applies to all submissions, written in 10pt Times New Roman font, double columns, single spacing. Only the title (24pt font) and affiliations (12pt font) should be written on a single column. The main sections headings (heading 1) should be styled in uppercase letters, and numbered in roman. Lower level section heading (heading 2) should be written in italics and alphabetically numbered. Equations should be centred and consecutively numbered.
Beyond the above simplified instructions, the authors are encouraged to apply IEEE style for the submitted manuscript. The manuscript file type must be PDF only, otherwise it will be rejected. All submitted papers will be reviewed by at least 2 members of the technical program committee to ensure high quality and relevance to the conference.
Manuscripts can be submitted starting on October 1st, 2006, and will have to be carried out through the EDAS system (http://www.edas.info), which means that all authors must have or must create an EDAS account. The validity of this account should be checked well in advance of the submission deadline. For paper submission through EDAS, authors should follow the steps below.
Establishment of a personal user account in case such an account does not already exist (the password will be sent by email from EDAS)
Login to the EDAS system
Selection of the EW2007 conference
Registration of the paper with a short abstract of 50-150 words only
Submission of the paper in PDF format only, until november 19, 2006 (extended deadline)
The authors of accepted contributions will be asked to provide a final version of their manuscript, taking into account the reviewers comments as much as possible, and implementing detailed format guidelines to be indicated later.
